Behind the name

Imagination, Love and Beauty. The three women of my life have taught me immense admiration for these qualities and Kataana, becomes the amalgamation of the three strong pillars of my family. Built on the foundation of the art of jewellery making, my family has always been enthusiasts of jewellery and encouraged independent creators of art and business. The culture and family traditions have made Kataana come to life. With each of their names ; Kalpana - Imagination, Hetal- Love and Heena-Beauty , my grandmother, mother and aunt become the embodiment of empowering the females in my family and appreciating them along my life’s endeavours.
